How to Cook Miso Soup Easily without Pot

Miso soup is one of Japanese traditional soups and the variety is made by combination of ingredients, miso, and broth. Miso soup is one of typical morning meals because the soup warms us and the a little salty taste has us get up in the cold morning. Miso is a fermented food like yogurt and made from soy beans.

You may not have the time to make miso soup by yourself in the morning. At that time, you can select instant miso soups like me. Do you know instant miso soups? I buy a product including four kinds of miso soups, that is produced by Japanese food company, Marukome. We often call this kind of product as variety pack. The product name is Ryotei no aji. Ryotei means Japanese-style restaurants those serve amazing traditional meals although they are absolutely expensive. Ryotei employs professional Japanese cooks and they use many cooking techniques to make the meals. Aji means taste. Marukome is one of popular miso makers. It launched some kinds of miso besides instant miso soups. I selected the product of Marukom because the salty taste are just what I want.

Let me explain how to make miso soup with the product. The product has miso and four kinds of garnishes. Firstly, you should select one garnish packet. Secondly, put the content of the packet and miso into your wooden bowl.  Finally, pour about 160 mL of boiling water into the bowl and stir it by chopsticks. Please taste it.

Marukome prepared some animations to inform their products in its website that includes Ryotei no aji. I feel the animations express Japanese culture involving miso soups well.

Miso soup is the representative meal of good old home cooking. You can enjoy good fragrance if you make miso soup using miso, not instant one. The fragrance really flows from kitchen to rooms to tell family that the morning already came. The situation may be similar to fragrance of the morning coffee. If you visit Japan, please try miso soup for your breakfast. Many restaurants serve miso soup in hotels even if the hotels are in western style.

Wow i didnt know miso can be another instant food.
Japanese are amazing at making good instant food, arent they?
Personally, i believe in home made meals with good ingredients. Organic, non-GMO, preferrably.
So, would u mind introducing a good miso (siro) brand that i can find in the asian grocery here in the USA? I tried a few but none of the american ones taste like the ones i’ve had in seoul or Japan. Thankyou!
